Hello. I’m getting an error in an iOS build. It looks similar to this issue, but turning off code stripping doesn’t help.
SQLiteException: table SCORE has no column named DESC_TEXT at SimpleSQL.SQLiteConnection.Execute (System.String query, System.Object[] args) [0x00000] in <00000000000000000000000000000000>:0 at SimpleSQL.SQLiteConnection.Insert (System.Object obj, System.String extra, System.Type objType, System.Int64& rowID) [0x00000] in <00000000000000000000000000000000>:0 at SimpleSQL.SimpleSQLManager.Insert (System.Object obj) [0x00000] in <00000000000000000000000000000000>:0 Unity 2022.3.22f1 Player Settings:Scripting Backend: IL2CPP Api Compatibility Level: .NET Framework IL2CPP Code Generation: Faster Runtime Use incremental GC: off Target minimum iOS version: 12.0 Strip Engine Code: off

Thank you for the suggestion. I have not changed any database-related code or database schema for years. This error appears after a clean app install (not an update). The error looks very similar to the one mentioned here: echo17.proboards.com/thread/157/managed-stripping-level-simplesql. I suspect this has to do with .NET.
Could you please confirm that SimpleSQL Version 2.16 can be used with Unity 2022.3.22f1 to create iOS projects?

Yes, SimpleSQL works with all versions of Unity on iOS. You mentioned you had stripping turned off, so the referenced link is probably not relevant to your case. If you want me to take a look at your project, please see this FAQ: link

Thank you. I have some ideas on how to debug this. If they fail, I'll send you the project.

This was happening because of a caching issue on my Mac. Cleaned up the app folder and set managed stripping to Low. The app now works as expected. Thanks again for a great asset!

Ah, good to know! I'm glad you solved it. Hopefully this will help someone else out in the future.
