EditorDB- Right now neither static or dynamic database can be filled in edit mode, because the changes are done to temporary-runtime-copy of database.
- UnityEditor-based windows, interfaces, UIs and assets could be used to add stuff to database, but they wont work due to the above.
- Example of such asset: Odin
- I grabbed SimpleSqlManager c# source from files you provided, copied it, renamed as EditorSqlManager, and changed it so it never creates a working copy, and uses /Assets/db path instead.
- With this im using Odin to fill database, but its imperfect solution because im using both SimpleSqlManager and EditorSqlManager. Its unclean
Will you please consider adding it?
Maybe a public bool that will disable creation of 'runtime copy', so that developers can choose whether they want the changes to go to original database, or just to runtime copy, would be sufficient.
