Hi!
Is there any function/demo for feeding text strings to display on pages?
If not, then any advice on what is the best/most optimized way to show different texts in runtime on the same material in EndlessBook?
Currently, my idea is to use a couple of page views and textboxes (TextMeshPro) where I can change the texts, read from strings and set to the textbox, while flipping pages or loading new books.
I don't want to create a texture for every page.
Since I need to run several page views at once when animating it does tax the framerate somewhat. So is this the way to do it or is there a better/more optimized way to do it?
/Christian

Probably the easiest way to do dynamic text is to set up a sub-scene with text objects and a camera that has its output as a render texture. You can then use the render texture in your page materials. This isn't specific to EndlessBook, so you'll probably find a lot of useful information on the internet on how to approach this. Here's a search to get you started with render textures: link

That's how I do it right now. Used one of the page view setups in the Demo02 scene and reworked it a bit. So I'll continue in that direction then. Thanks for the input!
